I think we should keep these links but tag them as being for old clients or old TVs, something along those lines, then add a quoted out line in the playlist file to explain that. (EDIT: or tag them along the lines of "no DRM" or "legacy client trying the Channel 5 stream, I get a static message card that reads the following (I can provide a screenshot if anyone wants): (Channel 5 logo) I suspect Mediacorp uses Widevine for some of their licenced third-party programming in order to satisfy the respective content providers and their distribution agreements, however, I think their original content will still play fine on older clients. To view this programme, please use one of the supported devices listed on mewatch.sg/helpĪs I suspected, these are streams MediaCorp keeps online for meWATCH clients for deprecated smart TV platforms, like LG NetCast, and Orsay based Samsung Smart TV releases.
